Follow these steps to ensure the perfect print:
Bleed
To avoid an unwanted white border, drag all background content to the edges of your template. We’ll trim your sign between the safe area and the bleed line.
Safe Area
To prevent content from being cut off during the printing process, keep all key text and logos inside this zone.
File Format
You may upload files in the form of a JPG, PNG or PDF. We recommend setting your document's resolution to a minimum of 300 DPI and color mode of CMYK.
A-frame inserts are available for free pickup in 5 days, with the option to add a black or white frame.
If you’ve already created content for your A-frame, choose the Upload Your Own option to upload your finished design as a PDF, JPG or PNG. Please refer to the design guidelines to ensure your design is ready for print before you upload it.

A-frames signs, also known as sandwich boards or sidewalk signs, are often found outside of shops, restaurants and other businesses. Great for guidance in parking lots or busy markets, these signs feature easily interchangeable inserts to showcase daily specials, directions or events. Place on busy sidewalks or near building entrances to catch the attention of those walking by. Carry our portable A-frame signs by the attached handle, and fold up when not in use.
Setup is fast and easy. A-frame signs arrive flat in the box with inserts placed inside the frame. Simply lift the A-frame out of the box using the top handle, and lock the hinges into open position. Inserts slide in and out for easy replacement.
While inserts are available for purchase on their own, we recommend pairing them with our frame to ensure the best fit for your signs. If you have an existing frame, be sure it can hold 24" x 36" inserts and select No Frame on the product page. Changed your mind? Add a frame to your cart before checkout.

A-frame signs and their inserts are available in one size. Need signage in additional sizes? Customize our banners, posters, outdoor signage and more.
For best results, we recommend using our 4mm corrugated plastic inserts. These inserts are designed to slide in and out of our frame quickly and easily, and offer protection from water and weather. Should you decide to use an insert of a different material, ensure it’s rigid, up to 3/16" thick, and measures 24" x 36".
Our 20lb A-frame signs are great for indoor or outdoor use. Pair our 46.125" x 27" x 3.125" polyethylene plastic frame with our 4 mm corrugated plastic inserts, which are water and weatherproof. Frames can be filled with sand or water to increase stability.
While we don’t offer double-sided printing on inserts, frames hold inserts on both sides. Both inserts will be printed with the same design. If you’d like to display different inserts on each side, order additional inserts that feature an alternate design. Visit a store to speak with a Print Specialist about options for ordering inserts with different designs.
